fuel code 232 & ign code 241 on 1990 740 16 valve 700

Does anyone have any 1st hand experience dealing with and curing these 2 codes? 232 is in port 2. 241 is in port 6. Check engine lite is on. Car runs and drives well. Takes a bit of cranking to start but I think that may be a problem with the check valve on the fuel pump (not sure yet). Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Oh, its a 1990 740 GLE 16 valve B234f.
