Debadging without ruining the paint 200 1992

I have a very clean 1992 wagon with the gold clear coat paint. I'd like to ditch the labels, but I'm afraid that even prying or dissolving adhesive will either leave a halo or pull off the clear coat?

Does anyone have a successful technique for this sort of paint?

Hmmm. The front fender plaques are covering holes for side corner lights, right? So I'd better get some corner lights to replace them, right?

Don't know what to do about the emblem in the grille, except maybe replace it with a "Lexus"...or, any other suggestions? Just to mess with people's heads a little.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Doug Harvey
