voltage regulator check 200 1986

I've just read this in the FAQ.

"Another way to check the integrity of the diodes on a Bosch regulator is to check the voltage readings at the D+ terminal and B+ terminal. The voltage reading should be the same at both terminals. A difference of more than one volt would indicate faulty diodes and the need to replace the regulator."

Which are these terminals? I have the regulator out of the alternator, but I realize I'll need to plug it back in to do this check. The brushes seem fine, but maybe getting a little short, but still well over 5mm or 3/16.

I'm taking the multimeter from work for the weekend and will be trying all the tests in the FAQ.

Thanks!!
Justin
