M-46 od won't disengage 700 1991

Help please, OD wont disengage when hot. Works perfectly for 10-15 miles then stays in od even if I stop and turn off the car. After it cools. its good again. I've cleaned solinoid and replaced o-rings per faq's. Also drilled 40/1000's whole between electric terminals to vent solinoid as recommended by Gear Venders in Ca. Do I need to bite the bullit and try a different solinoid or could something else be causing this. Electrical checks out ok too. Thanks Bill
