problem with overdrive 940T 900

Hi!
I have 940 Turbo '92 and problem with O/D.It doesn't matter if I speed up or driving at 20km/h - when I press the O/D button the engine goes on 3500rpm and turbo goes on one o'clock, the car behaves like it is set on 2d gear, the arrow on the dash doesn't go off. This is the only problem with the transmision, no touching O/D it goes smoothly.
Please help.
