When i first bought my 82 244 the compressor would make a really nasty noise when first started. Gradually the noise has died done to a lower rough working noise when started. It's like a chortling noise....as if something is very roughly operating

Any ideas?

I was wondering if the blower motor is supposed to be on all the time as well?
I feel a sligh breeze all the time....even though my A/C is off as well as the heater

Any help would really be appreciated
