Is the IAC a sex toy?!

Just for a better understanding of how the computer controls the IAC, I disconnected the one on the car and connected the connector to a spare IAC that I have. To my shock it vibrated like crazy. I thought that maybe it was a bad IAC so I tried four more, they ALL vibrate. Is this normal? If it isn't normal, maybe that's the problem with my car!
