Up and running.... 900 1991

But don't really know why. Put all the hoses back on the tank pump assy with new clamps and started- No change. Took the dodad off the fuel rail to check it out- nothing inside! Just a buffer/dampner. Did the listening with the hose bit to the tank pump with the fuse in/out. Pump seems ok. On to the main pump. Stinkin gas all over the place! Took the whole assy off, figured it would be easier to work on. One fitting on the filter was wet, so figured I would get new washers to put on. AutoZone and Advance auto parts don't sell them seperate, nor do they sell check valves. Blew out the valve with an air hose, and the pump, too. Reseated the washers on the filter. Some day I will listen to ALL the advice I get on the Brickboard. Especially the part about getting proper-sized wrenches to tighten the fittings on the fuel filter. Used vise-grips on the big end and I guess I tighten them too much and crunched the alum. Found out main pump works real good. Back to parts store- At least now I got new washers. Got everything back together, started it up, and it runs almost perfect. Still get the stumble one in a while, but so far so good. The only thing I can figure is blowing out the check valve & main pump dislodged something, but I didn't get anything when I did it. Will have to wait and see tomorrow if things are still good. Can anyone recommend a good FI cleaner to use? Figure that can't hurt at this point. Can't believe I'll actually be able to watch football tomorrow! Thanks again for the help!!!
