taking apart the ferschlugginer small clock 200

Hi, Giiis--

Based on discussion on an earlier thread, I got out my Dremel and cut off the back flange of the bezel. Got it off, got the surround and the glass and the adjust knob off, took out the two screws at the back.

Hmmmm. Now the mechanism is loose in the housing and slides forward maybe 1/4" but it still doesn't want to come out. What am I missing?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Doug Harvey
