Sunroof vent position 88

My sunroof is electric motor driven and i just resently read that it is suppose to move to a vent position. However, my doesn't at all. I read up in the FAQ and it stated how to get it working if you have a manual crank, but of course my is not manual. How do you get it to begin moving again in the vent position? Are there any secrets to helping the motor push it up? Mine seems completely stuck.
