Girling or ATE without removing wheel? 200 1992

I want to order some brake parts without pulling the wheels. How can I tell if I have Girling or ATE? Haynes says look for Code Numbers 1 or 2 inside the engine compartment on "a plate", but where? what plate? I have a 1992 244.
