Window Brake Light Removal 200 1989

I have 240 Sedan, and I have 3 10'' Subwoofers. I have a rattling problem in the brake light in the window. Putting Dynamat doesnt work, nor does removing the cover. Does anyone know how to take that light off? Has anyone done it before, and if so, how did you do it?
