Volvo special tool 5284 200 '82, '84, '88

Just to let you readers know that it is possible to get some dealers to order Volvo special tools. I ordered the "crankshaft counter-hold tool no. 5284" from the Volvo parts counter here in Eugene,OR with no problems other than a short delay when the tool had to be special ordered from Europe. This is the tool used to hold the crankshaft on the B230 engine when changing timing belts. It turns out the tool is made in Switzerland (probably a watch manufacturer's sideline). It is really impressive. It is built of very heavy steel, chrome plated, and comes with it's own pegboard hanger and outline decal so you can remember where it is supposed to hang. All of this for only $32.17 US$!
