I had my check engine light come on a few weeks ago, and I've tinkered with the problem areas, and reset the check engine light switch.

If the problems were not fixed by my tinkering (heaven forbid), how long would it take for the check engine light to come back on again?

As a side note, I'll publicly pat myself on the back and tell folks that, after literally years of driving around with a motorized antenna mast that refused to go all the way down or up, I spent 60 monotonous minutes this evening with a rag and a can of WD-40 running the antenna up and down, cleaning out years of gunk that had accumulated in the mast.

A boring process, but it works like a charm. Finally, I've reduced the drag coefficient!
