Cold weather quirks 200 1984

I am having a problem with the overdrive not engaging in my manual trans when the temp is below 30 degrees outside. It's ok after driving about 10 miles and it warms up. I resoldered the relay board-twice and it didn't help. Anyone else know what it might be?

I have had problems in the past with Volvo turn signal flashers buzzing and not working in the cold also. Replacing the flasher fixed it.

The clock in my car also stops dead when the temperature is low.
