Cargo Cover installation Queries 900 92

I started the installation of the cargo cover (part # 9192159) for my 965 wagon this morning and immediately ran into some obstacles. The first was when I began measuring for the bracket that attaches to the post immediately behind the back seat. It looks like it might 'marginally' interfere with the third seat shoulder/lap belt that is mounted there. Volvo indicated that it would not. I guess I'll go ahead and mount them and go from there. I'd rather have the cover than the third seat anyway.

More critical was when I removed the rear post panel where the securing hooks will be mounted. According to the directions the hook should be mounted just to the outside (from the tailgate) of the lower panel fastener which is exposed after removing the upper panel. Unfortunately, on the drivers side, the wiring lume and washer fluid hose are located there, and they're pretty well attached with mounts. I could attempt to reroute them or am I no seeing the diagram correctly? Abe..anyone??

As I had stated in a previous post, this takes all of three screws to place on each side. But the directions and pixs are extremely basic and terse (read unhelpful). Since the directions and part are supposed to cover a number of years and models, I can understand the generic approach, but it doesn't help when the car doesn't match the diagrams.

Any help would be appreciated.
