Fuel and temperature gauges and odometer 444-544 1963

The red needles on the fuel and temperature gauges have fallen off their respective pins. Is this something that others have experienced? Are these gauges easily removed from the back of the dash panel noting that the temperature gauge uses a capillary tube and has to be handled very delicately so as not to pinch or break the liquid-filled tubing.Would these needles need to be 'crimped' on to the pins or glued?

The odometer (which stopped working) I read a very long time ago that there is a metal gear with 4 (I believe) pins on the gear and one or more broke off due to stress. Is that something that a pin can be drilled in or soldered to make the gear whole again? The trip odometer is also out; I'm guessing that there is some connection with the odometer itself.

I'm finally getting the time to address all of this and need to know where/how to start.
