L shaped vs S shaped tailpiep for 90 245 with B230 engine 200 1990

My rear muffler, tail pipe, and under axle pipe are all rusting and require replancing, thought the resonator seems ok. FCP Euro has a L shaped tail pipe in addition to the S shaped one that I currently have.

Is there a reason to get one vs the other?
