DOH! Should the headlights come on 92' 240 when brake pedal pushed?!?!?!?

Ok, whoever swapped auto to manual tranny on this San Fran car, to Columbus, Ohio transplant must have swapped up some wires presumably at the brake pedal? The headlights come on when brake pedal is pushed. Sometimes but, not every time! Meaning it is intermittent. Sometimes, you push the brake pedal, no headlights come on, other times, push the brake pedal, and headlights come on! No s==t!

I bought this POS wagon with a known bad trans in Columbus, ohio and have been regretting it ever since. Whoever, did this swap, (someone swapped auto to manual before I stupidly bought it) is obviously not a BB or TB member. There were a lot of things done wrong. Like, they put the wrong clutch cable in, and the pedal released very high in the travel. They also didn't clean the trans that was in it so, everything was greasy as hell, or replace the rear main seal, pilot bearing or cable. I now have the bad trans swapped with a good one. Also, replaced all above items. The only luck I have had on this car is they put a brand new sachs clutch in it. It now shifts great and the clutch pedal feels right and releases etc. correctly.

But, there are also elect. gremlins. The above mentioned headlights coming on when brake pedal is pushed, the rear defogger switch sometimes comes on in unison with the headlights. Also, the radio will only come on when the ign switch is at position II, with all the dashlights. I realize the radio is a separate issue. Any help is appreciated.
