Folks,
Any luck with exhaust rubber hangers other than Volvo OEM.
Need to replace the two donut at the front muffler / resonator of one 240, and replace all six of the rear funky square hangers for the rear muffler of all three 240.
I had several no-name donut hangers that secure to the front or the front resonator break. These did not have any ID info on them. These were like under six to 18-months old when they failed.
(And no, I was not confusing the exhaust donut rubber hangers with the rubber donut hangers under dash vent holdin' up the under dash cosmetic insert that hides the under dash stuff that slides over the underdash [floor] vents. Yes, I actually did this before. Yes, you can laugh. Nyuk!)
Art, you say you use Starla in your Tue Nov 17 04:47 CST 2009 post here:
https://www.brickboard.com/RWD/volvo/1386935/220/240/260/280/exhaust_hangers.html
Do the Starla rubber hangers last as well as their exhaust system pieces?

The Starla hangers are around or under 2$ for either the donut (front resonator) and square peg-hole rear muffler hangers.
Art and folks, have you had good luck with Starla rubber exhaust hangers on 240 and such, or is OEM the way to go in late 2015?
I'll call Brentwood Volvo and West County Volvo parts Monday. I'll see if other local part stores have at least Starla.
Thank you,
B.
