Hello All,
I'm sure this is a no brainer for lots of folks; but I'm stumped.
Car had bodywork and paint, everything worked prior to that. I understand it can cause issues with grounding. So I cleaned everything down to bare metal around the edges where the blinkers, and tail lights mount. I even took out the rubber seals and casings. New flasher too. Blinkers don't blink, but are lighted full on. Taillight the same thing, but not brake light.
A friend suggested I drill out all the mounting holes and fill them with JB Weld and tap for a good ground. I don't think it makes sense to me.
So I toss it out to you good folks. I am renewing my PA state inspection. I would like to avoid as much hassle as possible. Every shop I've asked is going to charge me for both safety and emissions (my car is exempt, but the want to make their money). Also the fuse for the horn is blowing constantly. Also a new thing.
Thanks in advance!
