Where to buy refilliable wiper blades? Walk-in stores, preferred, please.

Dear Volvo Folks,

So, like the wiper squeegee blades on the Bosch wiper blade assemblies failed on the dear 1992 240 GL. It was a rapid decline of these emeritus Bosch wiper blades, as they do, when they come to their end.

I mean the actual wiper blade edges, not the assembly that secure to the wiper arm. The squeegee wiper blade edge part.

A short, yet aggravating trip, to several stores (Autozone, Carquest, and another) reveals one can now only purchase, for Bosch wiper blade assemblies, replacement assemblies. Not merely the squeegee edge refills.

The Autozone sale representative made mention of purchasing the refillable squeegee online from RockAuto.com and the like. Wiper blade failure is, usually, a rather extemporaneousness event, and under circumstances rife with precipitation. WAL*MART, I'm told, only sells the wiper blade assemblies. Target is useless, of course. Please don't mention visiting the stealership.

I purchased a set of the Carquest Trico brand, made by Bosch for Carquest. These Trico blade assemblies use ABS plastic hinge points, versus all-metal hinge points on the Bosch wipers.

So you folks know a store to walk into and buy these refillable wiper squeegee edge blades? (I dunno what to name these.)

Or should we stock up and purchase several pairs at a time from RockAuto.com.

I prefer not to use credit cards for everything as seems the continuing trend. I like the walk-in brick and mortar store, look, choose, and maybe then purchase, with cash.

Thanks.

Grumpy Technical Writer.
