Amazon ('67 123GT) Retractable seat belts, key blanks, REAR head rests? 120-130

Hi All,

Hope you are getting psyched for spring driving.

I got my '67 123 GT registered yesterday and drove it - really drove it - for the first time.

What a BLAST. Needs tons of basic stuff (and eventually full resto) but I want to drive it on weekends, etc for a while as I get to know the car. I will do a few mechanical / safety mods before putting it all back to almost 100% stock (may keep headrests).

So, I have a few Qs about improvements and safety stuff:

1. Who makes (where can I get) a RETRACTABLE set of 3 point front seatbelts that bolts into factory spot AND latches into the factory "red levers" receptacle / latch?

2. I also need 3 point belts for the rear - would prefer retractable. ?

3. anyone know anything about rear head rests? I have seen photos of Amazons with REAR headrests. This may have been a late, late option. I do not like how headrests look, but could have really used them in '94 when I was hit from behind in my Dad's '66 Amazon - have had lots of nerve trouble and pain since.

4. I need key blanks for the ignition. I used to get cool, sturdy ones form the dealer that had a plastic grip. These still around? Any recommendations other than ebay and VP?

5. Great unibody welders / fabricators in NORCAL? (I need an outrigger replaced and some precision welding here or there before I subject the frame to much use). I am considering doing new floorpans myself, as I have done them in other less rare 122s.

Thanks you for your input, as always.

You folks are WAYYYYY more mellow than the agressive R characters :)

-GTC
