Howdy folks.

So.... The good news is I don't think my oil cooler lines are leaking - the bad news is that my steering boot (on the tie rod) came loose and there's a good deal of PS fluid accumulated in it. I suspect this has been the cause of those little flecks of oil allllll over my car.

I see people post about how rack replacements (and sometimes their nightmares with it). How do you know when you need to replace the rack? I'm not losing fluid at any fast speed, just enough that it accumulates a bit and any time I pull one of the rubber boots (Accordions) loose, a bit comes out. I had a ford aerostar for a few months that just hemorrhaged PS fluid with the steering wheel turned to one lock and not the other. This is nothing like that, but it's not not-leaking either.
