AC condenser - radiator mounting 200 1988

While contemplating the loss (again) of the air dam that catches the air from the spoiler inlets and directs it up to the condenser and radiator, i realize that there is a gap between the condenser and the radiator, and there does not seem to be anything to bridge that gap so the engine fan also serves to pull air through the condenser. Did the 240's come with anything around the top, sides and bottom of the condenser-radiator gap to seal it so most air would be drawn through the condenser?
