I just moved from the UK to Australia, sold my k-jetronic-equipped 240, and bought myself a 1990 240 sedan, B230F, and I assume LH2.4. Does anyone on this forum know a good source of parts in Australia? I need to replace all ignition wires and spark plugs to begin diagnosing the car's hard cold starting. It needs a lot of throttle to start, then dies a few times before running normally. I also can't get into the trunk because the central locking locked, but now won't unlock! The ignition key won't go in the trunk lock. The car runs and drives fine once warmed up for a minute, has no rust, a good body and excellent interior -- except that I can't seem to adjust the driver seat height, and am sitting too low. Must deal with the flame trap too, if I can locate it, as putting clingfilm over the oil filler cap with the engine idling didn't show any evidence of positive ventilation (the clingfilm stayed still rather than sucking inwards).

It's kind of depressing to have left my nicely maintained 240 and begin dealing with somebody else's neglect. The car sure looks nice in the driveway though!

Any advice or therapy would be much appreciated.
