How to physically remove A/C compressor (correctly)? 200 1983

Hi All,
I've removed both the power steering and A/C belts from my b23/automatic 83 244.
The power steering pump had died, and the A/C compressor has never worked during the time I've owned the car.

I'm thinking there's no point in carrying that dead weight anymore.
What parts should I leave in place, and what parts can I remove without any issues?

Am I causing myself any issues by not having any belts on the fan pulley?
Thanks in advance for any tips.
Bruce
