My "new" '93 945 has a problem with cruise control. It has trouble keeping up with set speed. It will not completely disengage, but will loose a lot of the speed on the uphill, then after a downhill it will maintain on level road. I checked the vacuum lines and they seem fine. I disconnected the line that goes from the servo to the T connection on the bottom of the vacuum pump and gave it a good suck. That caused the servo to pull the cable in a ways. I then plugged the tube with my finger and held it there for a while. Servo maintained tension of the throttle cable. So, the servo diaphragm is good. The elbows on the vacuum line are good also. What else is there? I noticed that the vacuum pump had another nipple on it, white in color that had no hose attached to it. Is this normal or am I missing a vacuum connection to something? Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot?
TIA
