UPDATE AGAIN to mystery disaster post... 200 1992

See my original post here for the previous details:

http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/volvo/1507330/220/240/260/280/mystery_disaster_wife_miles_home.html

Tonight after installing the new belly pan I got under the hood and checked a few things-oil & coolant level, belts, etc.

I found fuel injector connector seal in engine compartment that must have fallen out when I did a compression test the other night, found the connector that was missing the seal and replaced it.

Start up the car to back it out of garage (because I needed to replace engine mounts on my other 240) and the engine is violently shaking at idle in park. I check under the hood because I thought I might have forgotten to replace the injector connector, but all is well there. I put it in reverse and it the engine continues to shake violently and then it makes a SCREECH!!! So I put it in park.

I figure it could be the alternator or some other accessory's bearing screeching. But I have never had to deal with this kind of task at hand before so where to go from here in order to find the culprit?

The car was running fine the past few days. And as stated before all the pulleys turned freely when the belts were off.

Thanks in advance,
Travis
