The only thing that worried me about this was how to remove the old(welded) pipe from the end of the cat.
As it turned out, it was a lot of worrying for nothing. I used a drimel tool. First a grinder to weaken the weld, then a cutting wheel to cut a seam, length wise(being careful not to cut into the cat pipe), on both sides of the muffler pipe and pryed the muffler of. No problem.
The starla muffler and pipes fit really good and lined up pretty well.
One problem: I couldnt get one of the hangers on. One holding the muffler just aft of the cat pipe. Presently I have a couple of plastic racheting strips in place where the hanger should be, but Im thinking its probably something that should have a better solution . Id appreciate any input on the hanger issue.
It doesnt, however, seem to be a problem. There is no rattling or excessive movement.
