Seat support structures! (59/60') 444-544

Hey guys, i'm about to plasma out the floors whle i'm back in town for the weekend to put the new 1x3" 11ga rails in. I am however wondering just how the structural support under the seats works that goes between te tranny tunnel and the rocker and seems to touch the stock frame spar. Is it a Hat-type channel with the floor board laying under it to close the section, or is it a closed member itself with the floor pan sitting on top of it? I know the rear bracing across the B pillars is a hat-channel type with an open section closed off by some sheet, but i'm really just not sure about these seat supports. Can anyone provide some direction? They also look different than those on the 1964 parts car.
