SHOULD I PULL THE ENGINE OR NOT? 900 1992

I pulled the head off my 960 to replace the head gasket and water pump. The pistons have a lot of carbon build-up, which I plan to remove.

With 195K miles on the engine, does anyone have experience / an opinion regarding whether or not the block should be pulled for new bearings and piston rings?

Thanks!
Greg
