I decided to repair the connectors for the Radio Noise Suppression Relays. This involved cleaning the terminals with Deoxit , sanding the terminal, wrapping the crimp area with strands of wire from a piece of lamp wire then soldering the entire area . I used a 140 watt gun. I then heat shrinked the connector as shown. On one of the connector I reinserted the wires through their respective "slots" in the grey housing then used a needle nose plyers to attach to the relay posts. Dielectric grease was used to coat the surfaces.I then slid the connector housing unto the relay then hot glued into the spaces. Note that on the relay shown there was evidence of heat build up as one of the post shifted. This was evident also on the connector housing. I am not going to put any hot glue yet into the connector. If I do this I will problbly use gasket silicone as I am not sure if the heat produced will remelt hot glue if used.Even though the car was running OK , I ordered a new relay. OOPS!! I dont know how to upload photos..can someone help
