Hello all, I need some advice. I have a 91 745 that is having some runnability issues. The car is hard to start, doesn't idle very well if at all, hesitates at slower speeds, and is getting atrocious fuel mileage. I believe it to be a fuel issue, but it could really be anything. I realize this isn't very specific, but I've posted specifically before and was left with a mountain of things to try. I admittedly haven't tried most of them. The wife and I were talking and she wanted to know how much repairing it would be. This is to get it into daily driver shape. It also needs some A/C work, as there is a leak somewhere but the compressor is still good, and motor mounts. The car has about 275k miles on it, but the odo as well as the speedo gave up the ghost a while ago so they read in the mid 250's. So after an "I don't know" she said that I should sell it. So what should I ask. There is only minor body problems, which is limited to a three inch long crease in the left front fender, and of course the car could use a fresh paint job. I was thinking between $500 and $1000, leaning to $1000 obo. Or can I get the major stuff done fairly cheap? Any advice would be great.
