Non functioning central locking 900 1994

Fuse is good. Relay is good (works in the car it was removed from)

Locking the door only locks the driver's door. Unlocking only unlocks the driver's door.

There is, however, and audible "hum" inside the driver's door that lasts about a second when locking and unlocking the door.

I am unable to see how any of the locking mechanism would be removed from the door.

Anybody have any insight into this repair?
