I have the anti rattle kit that can be used to replace the top connection points in my tailgate panel. That all looks well but I have some broken pieces on the bottom side. Two of the four connection points on the bottom that are washer shaped are mostly gone.

I was thinking of trying to somehow glue washers of the same size there. Has anyone tried something like this?
