544 B16B Ignition timing settings - 95 Octane 444-544

I'm trying to get my 544 to run abit more economical, as my car's timing is too advance... Every now and then I get exhaust bang, after i switch the car off??

We have a lead replacement Petrol 95 Octane along the coast of Cape Town, does anyone know what is the ideal Timing settings for the B16 motors?

The book says 21 - 23 degrees BTDC, not sure for the 95 Octane...but could it be less?
