I had a significant leak from my dipstick tube - disassembled it and found that 1) someone replaced the dipstick at some point and 2)Even with a new O-ring it still leaks a considerable amount of oil.
What's the next step? multiple O-rings of increasing size? Is there a specific seal? because I couldn't find one listed anywhere - though I didn't try the dealer.

PS I'm getting really tired of the oil getting onto my catalytic converter and having a smoking brick. It's smeared all the way back over the trans and is going to be a PITA to clean. I'd really appreciate some help.
