Need some quick help on fixing defroster duct 200 1980

Gotta dig into my '80 242GT tonight to try to re-attach the driver's side defrost duct. It's either come apart or broken, in behind the cluster (we can barely see it from underneath). Not getting much air up out of it --- which, in Central Ohio in December, is next to impossible to deal with !!! If it won't bolt back together under there, I'll just use old dependable duct tape (or JB Quik !!!). All the other ducts work OK.

My question is --- can you pretty quickly access that driver's side heater/defrost duct by pulling the instrument cluster ? Is that easier than from underneath ? If so, does it come loose with just a few screws and pull straight out toward you ?

Also, does anyone know of a location online for an exploded view of this sucker ?

Gotta fix this tonight before snow comes in in the morning. Appreciate the help. Thanks !
