power antenna 900 1994

I replaced my stereo with a non Volvo stereo. Everything went fine till I tried to butt spice my power antenna wire to the Volvo wiring harness (grey/green). It worked when I tested it but then once connected with the butt it fails to work. Got any guesses?
And which is the power antenna fuse #?
I've checked all the fuses behind the ash tray is there another fuse location?
