Need to replace fuel supply line ... 200 1983

In the process of trying to locate the cause of my intermittent fuel delivery problem, I have created a pin hole leak in the hard nylon fuel supply line where it attaches at the fuel filter (beside the external pump).

I'm thinking I will replace the nylon line from that junction to the fuel rail with high pressure Goodyear fuel hose using hose clamps over the barbs. Recommended?

How many feet of hose will it take? Is 5/16" inside diameter correct?
