Rant : And I thought 240 blower removal was tough ..... 200 1988

1988 740GLE wagon. Wow I thought removing blower on a 240 was tough(done 2x). However what seemed to be an easy job on 740 turned out to be a pain. Acessing and removing screw in back next to curved firewall(yes I pulled back carpet & rubber) was pretty darn tough. For easier access/working space I ended up removing jetronic unit & its holder. Anyway cleaned & oiled motor now my sqealy/noisy blower is super quiet. Anyone else find this tricky ? Hope not to have to ever have to do again(or for that matter a 240 either).
