I don't like a cup holder hanging on my dash or window so I came up with this low tech cup holder...Ultimate direction bottle holder with a coffee cup in place. http://www.ultimatedirection.com/product.php?page=waistpacks

These are packs for runners who need to carry fluids, but you can pick them up at most any sporting goods store.

A web belt placed around the center console secures it. The cup is a little behind you but easily accessible (and out of your way.) A tall narrow cup without a handle will ride here pretty well.
