Hello All,
I love my trusty 2-door 71 142e, but the wife and I made a decision to sell it last night. Our move several years ago from the south to the East coast has been too hard on us, and we think it should go.
I have several thousand invested in this car, and would like to hear what others think it might be worth:
71 142e with B20E Original working fuel injection system
4 speed manual with perfectly working overdrive(switch on steering column)
Front bucket seats recovered and beautiful black leather.
New front safety belts 3-point
5 spoke volvo alloy turbo wheels (15" from late 80's 740 turbo)
Front suspension rebuilt last year.
Upgraded to Pertonix electronic ignition
The body: It is white and has surface rust on the top of the trunk and around the windshield, and one small patch on the rocker panel on the passenger side.
This car was professionally rust-proofed in the early 70' in Santa Ana, CA, where it lived most of it's life.
New exhaust 2 years ago from header back.
The paint job was performed in the mid-80's and is now flaking off.
I suppose that I should post some photos. I will take some today and post tomorrow.
I am near Worcester, MA and open to discussion if someone is interested. Brickboarders get first priority.
