Yelllow unconnected wire under battery 200 1984

Hello All,

Have searched through the previous posts and it looks like this has come up a couple of times but no one has been able to give an answer that I can find so I thought I'd give it another go.

In my 84 GLE there is a yellow wire close to the battery with a metal ring connector on the end and a rubber boot. Appears there is also a black one with a larger ring connector Neither are connected to anything. Wondering if anyone knows it's purpose and/or where the other ends are located?

I'd assume it was a prewire for some sort of an accessory but I really have no clue and it is too difficult to trace back.

I'd like to use the yellow to connect an ambient temp gauge sender however I can't seem to locate where it ends up.

Also noticed there is a blue plug which is not connected to anything either near the coil. Anyone know what that is for?

Thanks much
