240 hot start troubles and stalls while turning 200 1993

We have a great 1993 240 wagon that is, unfortunately, possessed by evil spirits. It (almost) always starts right up in the morning, but if you drive it and park, then try to start it up again a few minutes later, it often won’t start. Turn the ignition, dash lights go on, but there’s no sound. After waiting a while (30 minutes or so) it starts right up. Hot days are the worst for this. NOW it has begun to stall in local traffic while making turns (a left turn in both cases). We’ve changed the fuel pump relay, to no effect. Any thoughts on what else might be the culprit?
