Lazy Steering Rack and a little Brake Fluid - results 200 1986

Well I tried the suggestion of a "capful of brake fluid in the Power Steering reservoir" to attempt to get my Lazy Steering Rack (when cold it acts like Manual Steering until 20 seconds later) to be better.

The results are that it has improved the lazy rack considerably...

I only notice a little bit of manual feel after it's gotten cold and it doesn't last but a second...

... though I'm a little concerned that the brake fluid (even though it's a minimal amount) may deteriorate my seals a little faster....

I guess I'll never know, the rack may be in need of a replacement if the seals are getting tired so maybe this will just make it a little easier to drive until then.
