oil pan leaking (rust)-- how to fix? 900 1992

Hello All:

My '02 945 Turbo has a leak in the oil pan-- it has pretty extensive rust blisters on it, and one of them is apparently deep enough to cause a leak (my first suspicion was a bad drain plug gasket or the plug itself-- I replaced both and it didn't fix the problem. While I was under there I cleaned off all the oil and crud so I could see better.

After a short drive, I crawled underneath and could see fresh oil seepage from one of the rust blisters on the driver's side.

Anyone encounter this before? Pulling the pan looks like a real headache on these cars. Anybody fix this kind of problem before?

Thanks!
