abs electrical fault 900 1993

re no abs light when ignition turned on tried your surgestions bulb okay cant see break in track in dash cluster so tried diagnostic test put probe i A 3 got no codes at all ignition was on any ideas liggy

    Hi Liggy.
    Have you verified with your test light for power going at the ABS socket base on the cluster (circuit board) itself,ABS bulb removed,ignition ON.
    The ABS light share the same power with all other light bulbs on the circuit board.I assume all other light bulbs come on except the ABS light.If there is no power at the base then the plastic circuit board is at fault.Sometimes the crack is hard to be seen by eye,using a magnifying glass would help .Try to borrow another cluster (IF YOU CAN)and try it on your car,if the ABS light works, then you found your problem.
    By the way,if the fault is as stated above you won't have any stored codes at all.Hope that helps and keep us posted.
