What tyre size on Virgo wheels 200 1984

would a set of 195 50 15 tyres fit on the Virgo wheels ?

For a wider tire that still fits, and won't affect the speedo, I use
205-55x15. Interesting, the largest tire that will fit in the spare tire well is 195-60. (or the donut)

I have 15 in dracos and I put 195/65 on them. The ride is nice and they look good.

You do not want to go to wide, or the rim will float on the side wall.

They would be a little short. 205/60 or 205/55, 195/65 and 195/60 are close to stock. I've seen several cars with 205/50s on them and it looked kind of wierd, 195/50s would be very small. I guess it would be OK if the car was seriously lowered. You'd still have to deal with quite a bit of speedometer error and higher than normal revs at speed.
